Job description
As a Software Engineer Intern at Scalarhub, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in software development. You will collaborate with our engineering team to develop, test, and maintain software applications that support our mission. This internship is designed to expose you to various aspects of software engineering, including coding, debugging, and software design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing software applications, including writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements.
- Learn and apply best practices in software development, including version control, agile methodologies, and continuous integration.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, ReactJS and JavaScript.
- Basic Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and AWS would be a plus point.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
